I didn’t set out to make a “lead magnet.”
I built a tool that answers one question people already ask themselves: “Is my personal brand actually working?”
Everything else — the scoring, the follow-up emails, the automation — exists to answer that question honestly. And to prove it’s real, before I ever ask for money.
This is the whole system. Not the highlight-reel version. The real steps, so you can build your own.
The system, in plain terms
Before the tutorial, here’s what’s actually happening behind the scenes. This is the full path — from someone landing on the quiz, to becoming a real lead I can follow up with.
Four things make this work. Each one is a choice I made on purpose — not something that happened by default.
1. The quiz doesn’t ask random questions. Every question points at one real problem — like trust, or pricing, or how clear their offer is. The score isn’t a guess. It’s built from real patterns in how people answer.
2. I prove one thing for free — fully, not halfway. Not a teaser. Their actual best sentence about themselves, rewritten for them, using their real answers. This one decision matters more than anything else in the whole system. It’s what makes someone believe the paid version is real too.
3. What happens next is automatic. If they buy, their report is made and emailed to them right away. If they leave without buying, one message brings them back later — using what they already told me, so they never have to retype anything.
4. I always know exactly where someone stands. Did they buy? Are they still thinking about it? Did they take the quiz twice? Did they pay a different way than expected? Every one of these needs to end up marked correctly in my system. This is the boring part almost nobody builds properly — and it’s where most systems like this quietly break.
Try it yourself before you build one
Reading about a system and actually using one are not the same thing. Before you build your own version, go try this exact tool on yourself:

Take the free score. See what unlocks. Notice the exact moment where I prove something real for free — and how the follow-up email shows up if you leave without buying. Trying it yourself will teach you more than any explanation can.
(Save the link. Worth coming back to once you’ve built your own, just to compare.)
One honest note before the tutorial
The example in this blueprint is a personal brand audit. That’s the business I built it for. But the system underneath has nothing to do with personal branding, specifically.
Change the quiz topic, and the same engine works for any business that can point out a problem before it sells the fix:
- A fitness coach could run a “how ready are you to train” quiz instead
- An agency could run a “how healthy is your marketing” check
- A software company could run a “are you ready for this” check
The quiz changes. The system underneath — score it, prove one thing free, branch based on buy-or-leave, follow up automatically, track every step — stays exactly the same. That’s the real thing worth copying here. Not my exact example.
Build your own — step by step, with Claude and WordPress
You don’t need to know how to code. You need three things: a WordPress site, access to Claude, and the patience to test each piece before moving to the next one.
Step 1 — Decide what you’re actually diagnosing, before you write any questions
Before you write a single question, decide: what are the real problems your audience has? Don’t start with “what should I ask.” Start with “what am I sorting people into.”
For me, it’s seven things: positioning, trust, how clear their offer is, whether it holds up long-term, how real they come across, whether they own their audience, and how their profile presents itself. Seven real, different problems — not seven versions of the same question.
Ask Claude this: “I’m building a quiz for [your audience]. Help me find 5 to 7 real, different problems they face — not surface questions, but the actual issues underneath.”
Step 2 — Work out the scoring logic before you build the quiz
This is the part most people skip. It’s also the part that makes the whole thing feel real instead of random. Decide, in plain words, what combination of answers means what — before you build anything.
Ask Claude this: “Here are my problem areas: [list them]. For each one, help me write what a weak answer looks like, what a strong answer looks like, and what specific — not generic — message should show someone who’s weak in that area.”
Step 3 — Have Claude build the actual WordPress tool
This is where the real building happens. You describe what you want. Claude builds it as a real WordPress plugin — something that shows the quiz, saves people’s answers, scores them using the logic from Step 2, and shows their results.
Ask Claude this: “Build me a WordPress plugin. It should show a multi-step quiz, save every answer to a database, score it using this logic: [paste what you wrote in Step 2], and show a results page with the score plus one full, real explanation of their weakest area, for free.”
Be specific about what “for free” actually shows. This is the moment that builds trust — don’t let it turn generic.
Step 4 — Build the free proof piece with real care
Pick the one thing you’ll prove for free. Make sure it feels personal — not a fill-in-the-blank sentence with their name dropped in. This is worth going back and forth with Claude on until it actually feels real.
Ask Claude this: “For the free section, I want to show [the specific thing]. Here’s what a real, personal version should sound like: [your example]. Build the logic that creates this from the quiz answers — with at least 2 to 3 genuinely different versions depending on what someone answered, not just one template with blanks filled in.”
Step 5 — Connect payment and your CRM, and test every path
This is the step almost everyone skips testing properly. Don’t just check “does it work when someone pays normally.” Also check: someone uses a discount code. Someone takes the quiz again after already paying. Someone’s payment is slow to confirm.
Ask Claude this: “Help me connect [your payment tool] to [your CRM]. Someone’s status needs to update correctly whether they pay full price, use a discount code, or try again after a failed payment. And if they retake the quiz after already buying, it should never wipe out that they already paid.”
Step 6 — Build one follow-up message, not a whole sequence
Not five emails. One message, sent at the right time, for people who leave without buying. Give them one easy way back in — with what they already told you filled in, so there’s nothing left to retype.
Ask Claude this: “Build an automatic message that sends once, an hour after someone finishes the quiz without buying. It should link them straight back to their results with their email already filled in — they shouldn’t have to start over.”
Step 7 — Check every dead end, not just the easy path
Before you launch this, walk through every way someone could show up confused. They come back days later. They search for a report that was never made. They already bought and forgot. Each one of these needs its own honest response — not one generic error message for everything.
Ask Claude this: “Walk me through every possible situation someone could be in when they come back to this tool: never took the quiz, took it but never paid, or already paid. Help me make sure each one shows the right thing — not one message that tries to cover everything.”
What this actually gets you
Not “leads.” Conversations that are already halfway there.
By the time someone reaches out to you, the tool has already done the work of figuring out what’s wrong. You’re not convincing them something’s broken. You’re just the person who already showed them you understand it.
That’s the whole point of building it this way. Not more traffic. More reasons for the traffic you already have to actually turn into something real.
Want this built for your specific business?
I didn’t build this concept in a day. It came from real failures, real testing, and a lot of versions that didn’t work — before it finally started moving.
That’s not something I can hand you as a generic template. Your business isn’t mine. Your customer isn’t mine either.
So here’s how this actually works: tell me what your business does, and who your customer actually is. I’ll audit that first — genuinely look at it — before I tell you what to build.
For $299, you get:
- A real audit of your business and your customer, not a copy-paste of mine
- The concept, mapped specifically to what I find
- Your full lead system, diagrammed — the exact flow that makes it happen
- A written process doc — what to build, in what order, and why
- One call with me, to walk through it together and make sure it actually makes sense for you
One honest thing before you send that DM: I can’t guarantee this will work for you. Nobody honestly can. What I can guarantee is that I’ll put in the real effort to figure out the right system for your business, the same way I had to figure out mine.
DM me your business type and who your customer is, and let’s start the audit.
