3 min read

Do you remember Sharma* Ji ka Ladka?

He was always getting above 98% of marks across all subjects.

But do you remember who was telling you about it?

Your parents? ‘YES.’

And do you remember who was telling your parents?

‘NO.’

I am telling you ‘WHO?’

That was Sharma Ji who was spreading information about himself and telling everyone about his son’s high marks. He was continuously talking about his son to many people,

and when others met your parents, they came to know that he was achieving such a high score.

How he was spreading this news?

Sharma ji keeps coming to tea points, vegetable shops, and physician’s clinics for regular BP checks and also going to other regular meeting spots and he starts talking about his son. Nobody knows his son’s name but everybody knows Sharma ji Ka Ladka.

Now, no matter when our parents went to the tea shop, vegetable shop, or the physician’s clinic, they would get this news from someone because Sharma Ji spread the news almost everywhere.

When our parents were coming from the market, we would almost hear it once from his mouth in a day and we would get tense without knowing much about his son. It might be that he got 98% marks, but maybe he was behind 5 to 10 students… We never asked a question back to our parents, but anyway…
